Linda Garriott is a rug designer and fiber artist whose rugs are distinguished by bold use of color, lyrical lines and curves. Linda’s designs lend themselves to contemporary, transitional, eclectic and contemporary traditional settings. Working with artisans in India, Linda produces beautiful hand-tufted and hand-knotted rugs in mills certified as child-labor-free by RugMark. All rugs are made with luxurious 100 percent New Zealand worsted wool. Wool/silk blends are also available. 

With her career rooted in hand-hooked rug-making, Linda studied with the late Hallie Hall, an icon in traditional American rug hooking. Hallie Hall encouraged Linda to apply her artistic vision and strong sense of color to rugs, by designing and producing original work. Since then, she has designed and produced contemporary rugs. Some have taken more than 500 hours to produce and have been exhibited at galleries and shows throughout New England.

Linda’s Signature Collection includes seven hand-tufted designs, each in five standard sizes, with 50 colors from which to choose. In addition, custom color, hand knotting and custom sizing are available on all Signature Collection rugs.

Linda’s rugs are in private collections throughout North America, including New York City, Chicago, Boston and Toronto, and her work has been featured in many publications.
